RCI has recently enhanced the RCI week program and search functionality for RCI Points members.

RCI WEEKS:

If you have decided to expand the possibilities and explore other vacation options, here's how to use your week and  RCI Subscribing Member benefits:

DEPOSIT:  Up to 2 years in advance of your start date or as late as 21 days before the start date.  Depositing your week as soon as possible give you more options, more time to plan and increase your vacation options.   This is called trading power.

SEARCH FOR YOUR VACATION:  Your week is deposited, now consider the vacation experience you want.   Focus on experience first, rather than a specific destination or resort.  Use the Directory to gather information on RCI's resorts or at  www.rci.com.   An added enhancement allows you to see your trading power and all the resorts available whether or not they match your trading power.

CONFIRM YOUR EXCHANGE:  Once a match is found for you, complete the transaction. If you confirm an exchange with a lower trading power than your week, you will get a deposit credit for the remainder of the TP you didn't use.   This will appear as a new deposit or credit on your account to use as you wish!  You will receive a confirmation verifying your resort, check in & out and pertinent resort information.

RCI POINTS:

With the flexibility of RCI Points, you can set your own travel priorities and see the world on your own terms.

Now reservations can be within 30 days prior to occupancy instead of 45 days for as low as 9000 points!  

How do points work:   An increment of points is available to you to use.  Each week at the resort is ascribed a point value.  A point value depends on certain factors including the supply and demand at that resort location, the type of unit, season and evaluations form Members who have stayed there.

Your RCI Points are made available to your annually, at the beginning of the use year.   Once you receive your annual allotment of RCI Points, you can exchange them to make reservations at both Points and weeks resorts, as well as RCI Points Partners for hotels, rental cars, cruises, airfare and entertainment.   You no longer need to worry about 'trading power'!
